Christian Vision and Values

At Stanley Common Church of England Primary School, we all strive to provide the best provision for all pupils who attend our school. This includes their academic education, values, behaviours and the knowledge and skills that will help

Our values are Respect, Courage, Friendship and Perseverance.

Each Value has an associated Saint and Motto to help the children see examples of Faith in Action. These values are intrinsic to life in the school and form the basis, not only of the children’s lessons but of the policies, behaviour and wider opportunities we plan. These values are regularly reviewed and adapted to suit the needs of a changing cohort and support the current needs of the students.

- We show courage like Joan of Arc

- We show perseverance like Saint George

- We show friendship like Saint Peter

- We show respect like Mother Teresa

We have a 'Christian Value' of the week which is introduced during assemblies and a child who has shown that value during the week, will receive a certificate in our Gold Book assembly on the Friday.
