Behaviour

At Stanley Common C of E Primary School, we have high expectations of the children’s behaviour and encourage respect for others and self-discipline. We strive to raise children’s self-esteem so that they are confident and have a sense of pride. Our values also outline the expected behaviours of our children and how we expect them to act towards everything they face in school. These are also displayed throughout school as a visual reminder to the children.

Enjoy - Appreciate and rejoice in the life that has been given to us and all that life has had to offer.

Believe - Having faith in Jesus and believing in ourselves.

Aim High - Aspire to be the best we can be learning, growing, giving and receiving.

Achieve - Reaching our goals. It is about awe and wonder, asking questions, inspiration and being aware of something ‘bigger’ outside of ourselves.

These positive behaviours/attitudes to learning are rewarded using Class Dojo which parents also have access to. This allows for positive messages to constantly be sent home, making that crucial contact between home and school.
