Stanley Common Church of England Primary School regularly visits the United Church of All Saints in Stanley Common, which plays an important role in the life of our school community.
We are fortunate that the church is just a short two-minute walk from the school, making it easy for children and staff to visit regularly throughout the year. This close connection allows us to take part in a range of meaningful experiences in a familiar and welcoming setting.
We visit the church for a variety of occasions, including services, celebrations, and musical performances. These opportunities help children to develop confidence, reflect spiritually, and feel part of the wider community. Special events such as Harvest, Christmas, and Easter services are highlights of the year and are often shared with families and members of the local community.
Our strong partnership with the church enriches our pupils’ understanding of faith and belonging, while also supporting their personal, social, and spiritual development.
